BruinCard Purchases

BruinCard is the passport to life at UCLA for all kinds of Bruins! Cardholders aren’t limited to students, we also serve University faculty, staff, and affiliated guests.

One of BruinCard’s many features is a pre-paid debit account. Cardholders simply deposit money onto their BruinCard account and use the secure and convenient payment method for services. While most of our merchants are on campus, we encourage local business to apply and expand the Bruin community!

Merchant Requirements

Prospective merchants should observe the following:

  • Merchants are responsible for purchasing a BruinCard payment terminal and associated setup fees
  • BruinCard sales incur a per transaction service fee
  • The sale of alcohol is prohibited with BruinCard funds
